2011 EVA Media AwardsWe wish to congratulate all the winners of the 2011 EVA Media Awards (Eliminating Violence Against Women), announced last Friday by the Minister for Women's Affairs Mary Wooldridge.
In particular, we would like to congratulate Genevieve Grieves and Darren Dale of the Blackfella Films and SBS Television for 'Lani's Story' which recieved the '2011 GOLD EVA', selected from the pool of winners across all categories.
'Lani's Story' explores "the impact of inter-generational violence within a family and a community and how the courage of one person can can transform the lives of others".
